Sayapoth

Sayapoth raconte l'histoire d'un garçon dont le père est parti à la guerre et l'a laissé seul avec sa mère. Il décrit comment le garçon s'est efforcé de se montrer à la hauteur de ce qu'il considérait comme l'avenir du pays et aussi comment la mère vénérait son mari. Cette histoire rend hommage au patriotisme des soldats, à leur volonté de mourir pour leur pays, ainsi qu’au soutien de leurs familles. Sayapoth tells the story of a boy whose father went off to war and left him and his mother to cope all alone. It shows how the boy pushed himself to live up to what he saw as the future of the country as well as how the mother venerated her husband. This story honors the soldiers’ patriotism, their willingness to die for their country, and the support of their families.
